this initiative is long overdue.The governing documents committee needs to be sure that it is not influenced directly or indirectly by the commercial interests of Telski.Telski as a major business and property owner should be entitled some board representation and voting rights but not in such a way that it can control the board and elections.
It is encouraging to see the level of knowledge and expertise on the part of some members of the Mountain Village Community. From CEO’s to lawyers, tax advisors and Board members of public companies who have in depth knowledge of proper governance and compliance policies
Great comments! As I have been a resident of the Village for over 30 years, I would like to point out that in 1990 there were only a few homes/condos, and now, 30 years later according to San Miguel County, there are over 1740
Residential units, with an assessed value of over $3.5 BILLION!! It is time that the Residential Class of TMVOA finally gets the representation we deserve. For 20 years now I have been asking “when is TMVOA going to start acting like an HOA”?
The solution is that we be awarded 4 Board seats a soon as possible!
