March 8, 2023 – San Miguel District Court Ruling to the Appointment of a Receiver
On November 23, 2022, the Friends of TMVOA and the Town of Mountain Village petitioned San Miguel County District Court to appoint a receiver to oversee the assets of TMVOA until the litigation can be resolved
On July 12, 2022, the Town of Mountain Village Town Council voted unanimously to join the Friends of TMVOA lawsuit against TMVOA and will be adding additional claims of their own. See the attached filing below:
On June 28, 2022, the Friends of TMVOA filed a lawsuit against TMVOA, TSG and representatives of TSG who are Board members of TMVOA. The main claims in the lawsuit are: (i) non compliance with Colorado law, (ii) non-complinace with the terms of the Associations Tax Exempt status
